You've been at this a while. You've read the bitcoin books. You've explained UTXOs at Thanksgiving. But here's the thing: you probably still have blind spots.

Unchained just released Rethink Bitcoin β†’ β€” a free, interactive course that walks through the bitcoin talking points you're already familiar withβ€”and some you probably aren't yet.

β†’ 12 lessons spanning the protocol, common misconceptions, bitcoin as savings, multisig and self-custody, network effects, and more.

β†’ 21 interactive figures that help solidify key concepts: compare bitcoin's cycles to history's famous bubbles, stress-test centralized vs. distributed networks, strip the volatility out of bitcoin's full price history, watch HODL Waves play out, run loss scenarios against singlesig and multisig. The full-spectrum kind of resource you wished existed when you were learning about bitcoin.

β†’ A clean, easily-sharable three-rule framework β€” bitcoin is not what you think, bitcoin is long-term thinking, bitcoin is true ownership.

πŸ“‰ Bitcoin Sells Off While Stocks Set Records

Bitcoin has fallen from above $74,000 to below $66,000, down more than 12% for the week, even as the MSCI All Country World Index hit a fresh record. Analysts are pointing at ETF outflows, Strategy's first disclosed Bitcoin sale, Mt. Gox movement and Middle East tensions.

Why it matters: Bitcoin is showing its own liquidity cycle, not just copying equities, and the selloff is forcing ETF buyers and treasury speculators to prove whether they are holders or tourists. Read more->

From market stress to legal confusion in Pretoria...

βš–οΈ South Africa's Bitcoin Status Fight Splits Courts

A South African High Court judge ruled that cryptocurrency, at least in the form of Bitcoin, is both money and capital under exchange-control rules. That clashes with another High Court ruling, Treasury's draft Capital Flow Management plan, and SARB/FSCA statements saying crypto assets are not legal tender.

Why it matters: Bitcoin recognition can clarify property and settlement rules, but it can also pull users deeper into permissioned capital controls while South Africa's institutions still disagree on the basics. Read more->

From court definitions to old exchange overhangs...

🧾 Mt. Gox Moves Coins As Payout Deadline Looms

Mt. Gox moved 10,422 BTC worth about $739 million to a new wallet, its largest transfer in months before the October 31, 2026 payout deadline. The trustee still holds about 34,504 BTC, while past distribution patterns have often started with administrative wallet moves.

Why it matters: The coins have not moved onward yet, but creditor payouts could turn dormant claims into liquid supply just as Bitcoin traders are already sensitive to every sell-pressure headline. Read more->
