Greetings Bitcoiner,
Welcome to Issue #653 of Bitcoin Breakdown, where every Tuesday and Thursday, we bring you the latest must-read Bitcoin thought leadership articles and the newest tools and projects you should know about. But first, today’s Top Stories:
The House committee advanced a Bitcoin reserve bill that would force agency-by-agency accounting and quarterly proof of reserve reports on roughly 324,527 government-held bitcoin. Deutsche Bank plans to hold wallets and private keys for institutional clients across Europe, and bitcoin traded roughly flat between $75,700 and $76,600 after the Federal Reserve raised rates by 25 basis points.
Hire Ava, the AI BDR built for enterprise
Ava is the first AI BDR to run outbound end to end, and you decide whether she runs autonomously or on copilot.
She finds leads or ingests accounts from your CRM, enriches them, sends personalized emails on behalf of your reps, follows up, handles replies and books meetings. Website visitor de-anonymization, intent signals, and a parallel dialer come built in.
A small team can manage her centrally for thousands of reps who never log in. Everything syncs two-way with Salesforce and HubSpot.
Ava runs outbound for companies like DoorDash and Grammarly, and one customer deploys her across 1,000+ reps. Ava is SOC 2 Type II audited, SSO and GDPR ready. Ava is how revenue teams grow pipeline without growing headcount.

🗳️ Congress Moves to Audit an Unaudited Reserve
The House committee advanced a Bitcoin reserve bill requiring agency-by-agency accounting of government-held bitcoin, quarterly proof of reserve reports, and third-party audits. Arkham Intelligence data puts US government holdings near 324,527 bitcoin, worth roughly $24.7 billion, though no audit confirms the reserve exists. The bill still needs full House and Senate approval before becoming law.
Why it matters: Congress is writing proof of reserve into law because a reported 324,527 bitcoin balance is not a verified one. Bitcoin already lets anyone check a balance without asking permission. Read more→
🏦 Deutsche Bank Will Hold Institutional Bitcoin Keys
Deutsche Bank plans a digital asset custody service for institutional and corporate clients in Europe, holding wallets and private keys on their behalf. The bank says its architecture creates secure key generation, hardware-based protection, multi-person approvals, and separate warm and cold storage, run with selected external providers. Target clients include hedge funds, brokers, custodians, and sovereign institutions across Europe.
Why it matters: Holding client wallets and private keys means Deutsche Bank controls the coins, not the client. Sovereign institutions routing bitcoin through a commercial bank turns adoption into custody dependency because the bank holds the keys. Read more→
📈 Bitcoin Absorbs a Quarter Point Fed Rate Hike
The Federal Reserve raised interest rates by 25 basis points, its first hike since July 2023, and bitcoin traded roughly flat to slightly down between $75,700 and $76,600 in the hours afterward. Bitcoin's reaction was muted because markets had widely anticipated the decision. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh signaled that inflation remains too high and that price stability is the priority.
Why it matters: A unanimous vote lifted the benchmark rate to 3.75% to 4.0%, and bitcoin still held near $75,813. Bitcoin remains the best exit from fiat because central bankers still manipulate rates to chase price rises their money printing caused. Read more→
