🏠 2,900 BTC Condo Sells for 7 Bitcoin
📜 Moody's Rates First Bitcoin-Backed Bond
Blockstream Jade is now the only hardware wallet in the world that can pay Lightning invoices directly from cold storage. Scan an invoice, confirm on your Jade, done.
You can also swap seamlessly between on-chain Bitcoin, Lightning, and Liquid inside the Blockstream app, all without exposing your keys to a hot wallet.
Stack sats on Liquid with near-zero fees, then consolidate to mainchain when fees drop, eliminating the UTXO dust that quietly eats into small balances. This is what self-custody was supposed to look like.

🔬 Google's Quantum Paper Sparks Bitcoin FUD
Google Quantum AI published a paper estimating 500,000 physical qubits could break Bitcoin's cryptography, a 20-fold improvement over prior research. An Ethereum Foundation researcher co-authored the study while quietly launching a competing post-quantum roadmap one week earlier.
Why it matters: Physicists put the actual threat 100,000 times away, and BIP-360 is already live on testnet. The quantum narrative is fiat-funded FUD following the same playbook as every failed Ethereum attack before it. Read more→
Speaking of costly miscalculations...
🏠 2,900 BTC Condo Sells for 7 Bitcoin
F2Pool co-founder Wang Chun sold his Thailand condo for 7 bitcoin after paying 2,900 BTC for it in 2015. The forgone stack is worth $194 million at current prices.
Why it matters: Real estate as an investment collapses on a Bitcoin standard. The condo lost 99.76% in BTC terms because fiat's broken incentives, not institutional greed, turned housing into a forced savings vehicle. Read more→
That same repricing is reaching bond markets...
📜 Moody's Rates First Bitcoin-Backed Bond
New Hampshire's Business Finance Authority issued the first Bitcoin-backed bond to receive a Moody's rating, earning a provisional Ba2 at $100 million. Companies can borrow against overcollateralized bitcoin with 1.6 times collateral and automatic liquidation protections.
Why it matters: The state is not borrowing but lending its authority, collecting fees with zero public funds at risk. Every traditional instrument Bitcoin plugs into is another node in its network of financial legitimacy. Read more→
