A multi-key vault with keys spread across devices from different vendors eliminates single points of failure. No single bug, theft, or mistake can touch your bitcoin.
If your setup depends on one device being perfect forever, what is your plan for the day it is not?
Casa's security team is running free consultations to review your setup, show you what a multivendor multisig wallet would look like for you, and help you plan a calm migration, including pairing hardware you already own.
Casa holds your hand, not your keys. The strongest self-custody is the kind with no single point of failure.

🚨 OpenSats Fast-Tracks Funding For Bitcoin Bug Hunters
OpenSats says it will prioritize red team applications for the foreseeable future and reimburse past model token costs through a dedicated track at opensats(dot)org/red. The move follows the Coldcard firmware flaw now under active exploitation, which Galaxy Research puts at about 1,600 bitcoin confirmed stolen from more than 7,300 addresses, with a suspected fourth wave pushing the total toward 2,000.
Why it matters: Free software has always relied on someone volunteering to look. Paying the compute bill turns that goodwill into a budget line, which is the first honest admission that auditing Bitcoin at this scale now costs real money. Read more→

🇪🇺 Scammers Pose As EU Regulators To Drain Wallets
France's Autorité des Marchés Financiers and the European Securities and Markets Authority warn that fraudsters are impersonating regulators and licensed firms, using falsified documents and stolen logos to move users onto fake websites. The French regulator has identified cases where suspects posed as its own staff and told customers to transfer assets.
Why it matters: A license is a filing cabinet, not a vault. The safest move during a shakeout like this is the one that needed no regulator in the first place, which is moving funds to an open source wallet you hold keys to. Read more→

🇯🇵 Japan Asks Exchanges To Delay Your Withdrawals
Japan's Financial Services Agency and National Police Agency asked exchanges on Thursday to hold withdrawals for a set period after a fiat deposit or purchase, require pre-registered withdrawal addresses with a waiting period, and set per-customer limits. The requests are not binding rules, and the agency says each exchange should decide how to apply them based on its own services.
Why it matters: Every one of these controls is a surveillance feature wearing a safety jacket. Address registration and delayed withdrawals tell a custodian exactly where your coins go and when, which is the cost of not holding your own keys. Read more→
